My Viewing in 2017

I can declare that this was a record year for me in terms of cinema attendance.  I paid and attended the cinema sixty times in 2017.  Second place is now 2013 with 47 views.  Now, unless I make a concerted effort, 2018 will most likely drop because it is difficult to maintain an average of five cinema visits per month here in China.

Here is my cinema viewing history:

1992 - 1
1993 - 5
1994 - 3
1995 - 4

Most of those were watched in China, but the first two of the year, Arrival and La La Land, were in the USA.  Plenty more throughout the year were watched in Hong Kong too, such as Good Time, American Made, It: Chapter One, and Blade Runner 2049, which were watched all in one day.  That was a great day!

So that was at the cinema, which is great and certainly my first choice to see films.  But I watched a lot of films at home last year too ... 180 to be exact.  I do not have quite as much viewing data as cinema visits, but I know it is not a record year, though I am still mightily impressed with the count and in beating last year.  Here are the last few years:

2013 - 201
2014 - 212
2015 - 140
2016 - 105
2017 - 180
